What am I doing wrong?

When I'm rolling at low speed (around 10mph) in 1st gear and I go WOT throttle, I get no wheelspin at all. How the heck can this be? Well, It doesn't seem like I do--is it because of the torsen?

Tires are Conti DWS06's. Is it because of the throttle lag?

Anyone else experience this?

What drive mode settings are you in? I have not personally tried what you are describing, but I would expect there are many factors (tire temp, ambient temp, traction control, etc.). In "Track Mode" I would expect you should get plenty of wheel spin, but you may also crash...

I've wondered the same thing. I have a 3.55 A6, and even from a dead stop if I punch it I get no wheel spin. I am also running the DWS06's in 275/35/20. I also live at 4600 ft. elevation, so don't know if this is a contributing factor as well.

Base PP, no track mode. 30 degrees outside.

It may have to do with the throttle lag. Pedal max may be upcoming.

Are you turning traction control completely off? Hold button in for 5-6 seconds while holding brake in. Message will come on dash telling you traction control is off.

How are you turning off the traction control? Pressing the button once or press and hold until 'Advance Trac Off' message appears?

Would Normal or Sport mode have anything to do with it? Maybe you are stuck in wet/snow mode. :lol:

I am actually amazed how composed the grip this car has. I mean I can press the throttle and it grabs and go. I guess it has something to do with the 3.15 rear I have on the automatic.
