Wrecked it. Not sure how insurance will handle. Front axle is broken, both wheels on passenger side are demolished, both passenger fenders, rear bumper and passenger mirror

Ouch!

Are you sure the rear suspension is okay? That can get massively expensive.

Body wise, the front fender and fascias they'll just bold on new parts. The rear quarter is another story. They will cut the old one off near the top of the C pillar and then have to cut the replacement to leave just how much they cut off your car. Lots of cutting and welding. They will have to remove the trunk lid, rear window, etc.

When some clown t-boned my Cadillac rear quarter at about 5 MPH (his air bags didn't even deploy) It was $10K in repairs and a ton more he coughed up for diminished value. It didn't look like much damage but it was. Hope yours is just what you mentioned.

Got some mud flaps installed. Not sure how I feel about them

They'll protect the paint though with spacers

...
Which flaps are these? Custom job, or bought from somewhere?
I need something to keep the salt off the sides of the car in the winter months.

American Muscle has a video on YouTube about custom mudflaps. The snap on, no drilling and match the other plastic on the car

Gotcha, that's what I thought.

Shame there's no actual mounting holes to secure them to the body properly.
I've gotten a ton of slush build up behind the wheels these last few days, where it freezes into a solid block of ice.
I don't trust those snap on things to stay attached when you're trying to beat that block of ice loose...

Yep. They will fall off just from the weight of the ice. Thats for sure. You could drill through the flap into the lip of the fender and add some screws really easily though

On with the insurance now to get it towed to the repair center. Personally, I hope the damage is extensive enough for a total loss so I can get into a 2016 gt, but that wouldn't be my luck

Installed the GT350R steering wheel. It looks great with the redline interior :)
There are tons of pics on the "GT350 Steering Wheel" thread.

Looks good!

I'm still waiting on my custom steering wheel wrap from redline. Been three months and counting. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.
