if your running a 9.0 index class, and you run an 8.97, you lose, beacuse its faster than a 9.0How is 8.97 seconds an 8? It's 9 minus an itty bitty smidge, like 8 inches. I guess drag racers were the original 4 inches is really 6 when talking to the ladies.
I am tempted to say something stupid but you beat me to the punch. How is 8.97 seconds an 8? It's 9 minus an itty bitty smidge, like 8 inches. I guess drag racers were the original 4 inches is really 6 when talking to the ladies.
Well the rest of mankind didn't forget their 4th grade math, where you learned 8 means 7.5 thru 8.49. If you want 2 significant digits then 8.0 second car is 7.95 thru 8.04.I am tempted to say something stupid but you beat me to the punch.
Interesting. So an 8 second anything "Isnt" numbers between 8.0-8.99? I just wanted to make sure we weren't using "Common Core" Math lolI am tempted to say something stupid but you beat me to the punch.
My intention was that his comment was stupid.Interesting. So an 8 second anything "Isnt" numbers between 8.0-8.99? I just wanted to make sure we weren't using "Common Core" Math lol
I guess every NHRA ProStock milestone record is also incorrect then. Warren Johnson was not the first to run 180, 190, 200 or his son Kurt wasn't the first one to run in the 7's all because they didn't run deep enough into each slot. Or when Kurt was the first to run in the 6's, as illustrated here:How is 8.97 seconds an 8? It's 9 minus an itty bitty smidge, like 8 inches. I guess drag racers were the original 4 inches is really 6 when talking to the ladies.
Copy That.My intention was that his comment was stupid.
