Why do you think that just because ford doesn't sell a gt500 yet that it's not in the works? I think it's best they wait it out and see what GM does and attack them.
Just like they did with the GT500.

Say what you will. It's clear to me that you have never looked under your car. As you have no idea of equally sizable amount of bolt in body reinforcement your ecoboost convertible has.

If only you had something meaningful to add to any technical discussion.

Way back when, I was eager to have you and others help us understand the engineering that went into a performance car chassis. Your interest and enthusiasm for this topic has been amazing. I have learned a lot from all the time you have put into this work so I thank you for that.

I wish a few more people with different views and knowledge had done as much explaining and less criticizing. So what if someone's theories and opinions are different from your own. We learn from the debates, not from the name calling.
John - if only it was easier to separate knowledge from assumption and - perhaps particularly - bias.

Do we really gain anything from yet another lengthy '<insert competing Camaro model> Assault Thread' (reference intentional)? Is there nothing positive to be learned from the guys on the other side of the street that might be useful?

Is there any good reason for even the "vs" threads to exist solely to smack other cars around on this forum, especially where 'Camaro' is such a hot-button word for some and
somewhere in a real thread here said:
. . . I need some leeway. . . I can't smack them around anywhere else.
???

I've tried. It just turns into "You make points that I don't understand, so I'm going to ignore it, say Ford 5 times and put a  at the end. Therefore I win the argument."

Why talk technical when you can just say what you think and it's magically true?

Just like when he said there were a bunch of left over Camaros for sale so it meant the Mustang was better.
...But when you went and looked at cars of that year model, there were far more untitled new Mustangs of that same year available for sale. Not that I even think left over new cars really is a relevant argument. But just was proving a point.

But, nope. He ignored that whole crash and burn of his point, and went on to another irrelevant argument.

Brace Brace Brace on the Camaro. Yea? Take a look at what your convertible Mustang has under it keeping it sturdy.

And seriously. Who the hell even cares that cars have to have bracing to make them more sturdy...?! All of them have it in one way or another. Just like all of them have some type of frame, and wheels.

And going on some of the logic I've seen on this thread...

http://www.torquenews.com/106/2016-ford-mustang-gt-convertible-gets-performance-package

Why does the PP GT convertible need extra bracing? (Strut tower brace, k brace). Not to mention *GASP* A LARGER RADIATOR!!!
It's obviously because the original car was horribly designed and they secretly made these changes because they knew the car was incorrectly designed originally right?

No?

That's strange. Because that's exactly what a few of y'all are claiming about the Camaro. Oh but nope. Not the Mustang right?

Could you even imaging the bull s**t thepill would make up about the Mustang if he was a Camaro guy with information like this? ;)

I'm being facetious, because braces are there for a reason on both brands of cars, and are just fine for how they're designed and used on each trim.

It's just amazing the time and effort people put in to push misinformation without knowing a thing they're even typing about...

I love the Pill! He drives Chevy guys bat shit crazy!
Well yea. When he posts blatantly false info it generally gets on people's nerves.

He's definitely posted relevant correct info before, that's fine. I've even agreed with him on some points. But when he goes way out in left field it just confuses me...

He claimed the ZL1 with the A10 was going to need an AC delete.

That's a mark right there.
Do you see a zl1 1le A10? Nope!

I dig the passion and commitment. However at times the nature of the posts undermines the discussion, specifically when separate categories of information start to get blended.

The Mustang offers alot of advantages, in alot of ways where it doesn't need help or speculation to place it over the Camaro, or any other vehicle in the segment.

I have said it 20 times. They have done more with less. Fact will speak for themselves.

Have you, has he? Nope. But when it comes with cooled and heated seats chances are real good it will have A/C. Plus, no mention what so ever from those at the reveal that A/C was gone. I think someone would mention it.
