get the X4 tuner....and MPT tune. it will transform the car....
Was going to wait but your right, might as well get the SCT with the preloaded tunes so I can wake it up now  and then order a couple other tunes via eMail when I have all my mods on,one for 87 and one for 91,never thought about doing it this way being my other veh has a Bama chip and then my 95 GT has a Quarterhorse chip and I use it with Binary Editor.

Why not order directly from mpt....the sct base tunes kinda suck and dont really feel much better at all. If your gunna get a x4...save yourself the effort and just go straight to the mpt

After I get my custom exhaust, I'll be ordering tunes from MPT and asking if they have ghost cam yet :D

Just got off the phone with MPT and I'm getting it with the custom tunes, while I wait for the tunes after I plug it in and fill the tune forum at least I can try a preloaded tune while I wait for the email tunes. Not bad for 450.00. He said the really only change i will have to make is when I do gears and that will be later this fall if I decide to go that route.

So. After the new wheels I figured I needed some low low.. So I order some lowering springs to drop her and I found the perfect exhaust setup and I have those on the way as well. This week is gonna be awesome :) ended up snagging the wheels before Brent got his hands on them lol

My first mod was the pony decal on the fenders I believe, going on a conservative 5hp per sticker and them being 2 part decals...that's 20hp easy. Then I moved onto springs, shocks/struts, and CB005 all at once.

Intake and exhaust (which is everything from the CAI, throttle body, headers, full cat back exhaust). Did all that together first thing. If I had to do it again I would have done suspension first and saved exhaust as one of my last mods.

Oil catch can because I had one from my F150. First purchase specifically for the GT was Roush Axle-Back Exhaust. Stock was not nearly aggressive enough.

Mine was exhaust. Even though I didn't get a GT I was happy to hear some of the sound clips of aftermarket exhausts for the V6. But I ended up swapping out the Pypes Street Pro axle back for a stock GT catback because I didn't like the sound at low rpms where the auto transmission stays for a lot of normal driving. I miss the sound at higher revs, though. I'm getting better gas mileage because a heavy foot isn't as fun any more.

First mod? Two steering wheels. I ordered a GT350 wheel thinking I was going to order the car with black interior. Then I switched to Redline interior and ordered a GT350R wheel so stitching matched. IIRC both arrived before the car. LoL
