Why are tunes lagging?

I have another thread started but wanted to give you guys an update on here. I uploaded a custom tune from Torrie at Unleashed Tuning. I used a SCT x4 tuner to upload his tune. Man what a difference! I am waiting on weather to get better to really test it out but I am feeling a lot more torque early and the car jumps from the go! I am telling you guys, this is well worth it, especially since other companies are not ready yet for the the v6!

Gave up asking BAMA they seemed like they weren't worried about it however I did ask MPT a couple weeks ago and they said they were going to get a v6 on the dyno and develop tunes. Not sure if they have made any progress yet.

Check out Torrie at Unleashed Tuning, his screen name is tmcphail. I think he is the only person tuning the V6 and he happens to tune with the X4. He is pretty active in the EB sub-section.

Well his EB cars are in the 12's tune only. He has a very good reputation in the Ecoboost community (Focus ST, Fusion, EB Mustang). There are a few guys on here who have his tune on their V6 and they seem pleased.

Sorry, im new to this tuning stuff. 12's? What does his custom tunes do? I thought buying the tuner has preloaded tune.

12 second 1/4 mile times. Being new, I recommend buying your X4 from his website and he will send custom tunes. His customer service is second to none and he can walk you through it. I don't think the X4 comes with preloaded V6 tunes.
