This isn't about how close to E you can get. What I mean is, when you first fill up/top off and you start the car, what does it read?

My GT had displayed 235-242, most recently 238.

Normally I get about 195 miles to empty, but on my last fill up it suddenly went to 300 miles to empty. Could something be wrong? That is a huge jump.

Usually around 480 or so. This is my road car, so very little city driving. Went 330 miles today and averaged 32mpg in hilly terrain 2 lane roads, and returned via interstate at 65 to 70mph.

With the way I drive it tells me low fuel when I start it up to leave the gas station.

Interesting thread.

I'm always 298 on fill up but I bot 301 this morning which was weird. I get about 13 mpg or a little over 200 miles to a tank.

112-115 usually. Worth it, though.

When I really try to baby the throttle I have seen as much as 312 but typically I average around 250

My typical fill up MTE is a little over 360. On extended highway trips the MTE will read 400+ after a fill up.
