Wrapping rear decklid panel?

After seeing some of the FRPP blank decklids with dimples in them, I wondered: How tough do you think it would be to bondo or otherwise fill the badge mounting holes on a stock panel and have it wrapped with gloss black vinyl? I'm considering having the shop do this when I take my car (eventually) in to have the roof wrapped.

Feasible? Any reason why you couldn't shave the holes with bondo and wrap over it? Seems like a cheap mistake if it ends up not working, just pull the vinyl and reinstall the badge.

Except there is no going back, because they will need to sand the bondo hole flush. You would then need to buy another (dimpled) black panel for $100.

But why would you wrap a gloss black panel with gloss black wrap, unless you just want to delete the emblem??

It should be a pretty easy mod. I plan on removing my deck lid panel and fiber-glassing over the holes. Essentially the same thing you're inquiring about, just a bit more permanent. Then I'm planning to have the deck lid and tail light surrounds wrapped in matte black.

I want to delete the emblem with no dimples anywhere in the panel.
