Check the classifieds here and see if anyone is selling theirs? What exactly are you looking for? Do you need to replace the whole panel or just looking for a black GT badge? Badge swap is less expensive if that’s all you want/need to do.

I paid about the same for mine and can say the fitment is 90% there. Had to transplant some nvh pieces from the old one but I think it took me 2 hours start to finish. I like it and would suggest this as a decent alternative.

I found one here a couple of months ago for short money. You can go aftermarket but I've heard that the quality is questionable. Ford also sells an aftermarket that has no logo, which is what is listed in this thread. That's a good deal if you don't care about the emblem.
