Who can't get photos these days? Everyone has a phone and texting/email capability. Maybe there was no hail storm...

So far still waiting on the car. No update yet.

I'll call on Monday and see what's up..

On the other hand, found a GT350 for MSRP. Asking about an 17' R allocation. Looks like he might have one.

Grabber Blue GT350R anyone?

If your able to come up with a "R" out of all this, at a dealer with no ADM on a GT350. Maybe a $10k on a R ,,,,,,, you'll need to change the thread to "best" luck ever. Lol

IMO the dealer is mentioning that some cars are going for $10k over as a bargaining tool. He's saying that because it's a reason that he won't discount this car. Now it's your choice whether you want a repaired car for $1000 over MSRP or not.

This is where it's all about you and what you want to do. If it were me I think I would be looking for a 2017, but I would want a tech pack with coolers and the track pack spoiler. And I want it in one of the new for 2017 colors. If you don't care about any of that or prefer the 2016 configuration I could understand still taking your original car. From what I can tell talking to the dealers around here, it was a lot easier finding a car when I started looking in the fall of 2014 than it is now. But then again some people still are finding cars at MSRP. Your deal is good enough you probably can buy the car, start looking for a 2017 and if you find a good deal on a 2017 sell the 2016 car.

I don't get it. Why would you want a repaired car when you can get a better one for the same deal. I wouldn't get the hail damaged one because you'll always be thinking of the repairs made. Skip it. It's not the only one out there.

GT350 @MSRP or hopefully an R at a low ADM, you can't go wrong either way!

(Get the R ;))

Update:

The car is totalled from the hail.

Either I get their Race Red with white stripe 16' coming in.

Or I get my 1000 back..

Or I order a Grabber Blue/Black stripe GT350...

Looks like I'm on the hunt for a GT350R in Grabber Blue.

I'm guessing you have the VIN on that car. Will be interesting to see where it ends up. I'm a skeptical type of guy so I still get the vibe that it got sold to someone else.

I bet they take the insurance money and sell the car with a salvage title for close to MSRP.

If you have a Vin, a call to ford is in order. Something really doesn't sound right about the entire deal. Even just to get some answers...

In the Down and Dirty thread, I read an earlier post today that a dealer in Kentucky had a 2017 350R allocation that could be had for only $5K over.

You mean the dealer who thinks that they can order an R with a non-R allocation?
