I ordered mine in DIB to match the car. My stock shifter is messed up anyway. At the back of the button, the paint is flaking off at the mold line. It scratches my hand every time I touch it. Very annoying. So, this is a good excuse to get rid of it.

My paint is rubbing off a bit on the black next to the gear select letters. Like the leather is rubbing the corner of the black paint off.

Good excuse for me too to take it off before it gets too messed up and save it for selling the car down the line. Use this with the manual shift boot.

LOL But really I dont get why they make auto shifters so horribly ugly. There is no overdrive button or anything on ours complex, just a button and spring to shift. It's WAY too tall and unsightly looking compared to the car

Well, at least it is similar to the manual knob, instead of a T-handle with thumb button!

True the old S197 were terrible but I just dont get who approves these things
