Well I'm back. Some of you who know me know I purchased a 2015 Corvette.

I love this car but unfortunately on April Fools tragedy struck.

A guy in a F350 decided it would be cool to drive over my Stingray....literally. He was parked next to me turned his wheel and drove over the wheel, fender and nose.(i was parked all alone) He tried running but a good Samaritan stopped him. The rim/tire may need to be replaced but the Fender, headlight, upper/lower nose, grill, all aero, ducts, I belive some support arms for engine bay, marker light...possibly suspension components. Let's just say it got pretty messed up. The pictures don't do the damage justice.

Let's just say I don't know how I stayed calm. Well I came to the conclusion with my wife that I dont want to own a $62k car where people run over cars before the first oil change.(weekend car it would be great but DD everywhere you go is a panic attack) Since we are positive on our loan we decided after the repairs we are going to sell it for a profit.

Well I wasn't going to drive a rental Toyota Camry for the next two weeks. After much research and bouncing between a Scat Pack or 5.0....

2015 GT Premium Guard, stick, 400, Nav, Sec, Reverse, Track Pack, Ceramic leather. 20 miles on the odo (probably a test drive) cut my monthly payment pretty much in half. I have to say I love this car. Don't get me wrong the C7 is amazing but they are not comparable cars so I won't. So far though it puts a smile on my face when my right foot goes down and even on the crap 87 fill the back end breaks loose in Sport+

The color brought me to my knees. It's so glorious in person and the sun and the black accent is killer.

Well enough babbling from me. Good to be back and I'll miss my C7 but the S550 is a mighty fine replacement.

PS I thought it was bad having a 30 to 40k dollar car being damaged yeah I almost puked with the Vette.

Can't wait to catch up with some of you guys.

Sucks to hear about the vette but congrats, personally i would have been tempted to wait until 16 or if you could afford it the gt350, but can't go wrong with the 5.0L

Well....Holy Shit...your ears I am sure were burning as we were chatting about you in another thread this afternoon. We said you flipped and hated Ford and became a GM lover....LOL. Oh and we said you got banned...

In all seriousness, glad you are ok. Sorry to hear about the wreck in the Corvette but glad you're back in a Mustang. Guard looks great.

So guy was just being a dick for being a dicks sake, and wanted to prove how BIG his truck was?

Was their an audience, at least some buddies in his truck. Or was just his version of a jealous keying?

That sucks.

Well I'm back.
Damn dude...where did this happen around here? Since you were parked out there solo do you think it was intentional? Were the police called?

Grats on the Mustang. When I get mine soon we'll have to meet up.

Welcome back. Sorry to hear about the vette but you probably made a wise choice in the long run.

BTW, I liked Sheehy quite a bit the one time i dealt with them a couple of years ago. Good people based on my limited interaction.

And now on to more important matters.... which exhaust you gonna slap on her???:D:D

Welcome back, matey

Really sorry to hear about the C7 though, that would have made me cry! However, the S550 is a SUPERB replacement and I love the colour combination.

Keep the photos coming :)

The C7 is a great car. Sorry to hear yours got trashed. Totally understand not wanting to deal with the stress of trying to park and worrying about what some idiot might do.

Your new Mustang looks awesome, too, though!

The combo of Guard with the black wheels along with the ceramic interior is great looking, even in pictures.

Glad to hear the Mustang can still put a smile on your face after having some time with the C7.

Welcome back!

Wow sorry about your vette, I don't understand why some people can't respect others cars.

Thanks. I would have because sync 3.0 will be great but I really needed a pick me up and I really like the current MFT. Is it just me or is the Mustang MFT super responsive...

I don't want to own another car over $50k until I can make it a weekend cruiser.

I'm flattered.....lol. I'm glad too. Really though the aftermarket and community sucked. Most owners are old and grumpy lol

I honestly think he was just an idiot. When I approached him and told him the police were on the way he got all panic faced and said something in Spanish to his family and they scurried off into the stores.....
Welcome back Brent ....real men don't wear bow ties anyways
Lol it was quite itchy. It is nice seeing a Pony on my wheel. Good to be back.
Atta boy!

Haha yeah. In hindsight I'm glad this happened because if this happened to the LE I ordered I might have gone postal

In Annandale. Plaza right off Little River Turnpike. Like I said above I think he was just am idiot. Hell yeah he was not leaving until the police came. Unfortunately she said she can't ticket him since it was private property....
Welcome back. Sorry to hear about the vette but you probably made a wise choice in the long run.

The research begins lol it looks like a cat back is the best solution. Car is disappointingly quiet.

Thanks I think so. Yeah I was pretty blown away how great sheehy was. Plus the are a USAA partner so no negotiation and the whole process took about 2 hours. They even beat my financing I brought to the table.

FYI DO YOUR RESEARCH AND GET PRE APPROVED! It really puts the ball in their court and gives you an upper hand.

Welcome back, matey [emoji106]

Good to be back! Yeah I went numb when I saw the damage. I had to suppress the rage. I really really love this color combo the black and green is menacing and the seats give some life to the interior.

Thanks man. You know what the overly sensitive throttle in the Mustang really adds a fun factor. I haven't seen the upper RPMs yet but it's great to actually shift while having fun. 2nd gear in the Vette I was over a 100.
Ha weird we were just wondering where you went like Todd said.

I just went dark. I was still reading some entertaining posts of some people rambling lol

Thanks yeah this area blows. I had a woman slam her door into my old challenger while I was sitting in it. When I said WTF she just shrugged.
