Windscreen (Audi A4) Repair

Hello All,

I've have had an Audi windscreen in my 2018 Mustang convertible for or a few years now. It's nice......
Well on Saturday, while he's riding in the passenger's seat, my grandson decided to mash tilt his seat back. Wam.... there went the retainer bracket on the windscreen.

Does anyone happen to have a retired Audi (A4) windscreen with a spare passenger side pin/bracket piece? Or a source to buy a replacement part? (pictures attached).

I did the same thing. Ended up JB-Welding a proper size bolt into the spot where the rod was. It aint pretty, but its been holding for 3 years now.

Sounds about right......I wondered if epoxy would hold. I'll give it a try. As long as one side pin still retracts, it should be ok. Thanks.

Its in storage, but I think I can get to it this weekend. It's not pretty, but it works.

Hi I am new to the forum and Mustang ownership. Is the Audi deflector a common choice? Is it easy to mount? The Mustang specific ones all seem like they are pretty awkward. thx
