Oh yeah, good point. You don't feel the sun beating down on your arm while you're driving on a hot day, which will happen on a non tinted car.

Front tint isn't really worth it. The rock pits look really bad imo, like white marks on a black background. I have it and it is nice for sun but I'm going to have to replace it eventually and when I do, I'm not tinting it again.Same here and I have to change my sticker annually. One of the biggest reasons front tint was a no-go for me
You can polish glass and remove many of the dings.Front tint isn't really worth it. The rock pits look really bad imo, like white marks on a black background. I have it and it is nice for sun but I'm going to have to replace it eventually and when I do, I'm not tinting it again.
Yeah there were enough reasons not to do it, more than reasons to do it, so I decided not to. No regrets so farFront tint isn't really worth it. I really don't think you can do this with rock pits. You need to actually fill in the little crevice I believe. You can polish glass and remove many of the dings.
True, it’s dependent on how deep the dings are. I have three vehicles with windshield tint of at least 50% or darker, no issues after a combined 59K miles between them.I really don't think you can do this with rock pits. You need to actually fill in the little crevice I believe.
Right, the factory dyed glass? Our CX5 has that, but only in the rear passenger windows. Front windows are not treated. Also as an FYI, 20% is factory tint on the side/rear windows for SUV’s. I never knew that until my tint guy told me that.
And most of those aren’t actually tinted, the glass has a dye layer in it which offers zero thermal protection. Also as an FYI, 20% is factory tint on the side/rear windows for SUV’s. I never knew that until my tint guy told me that.
