99.5% the fix is to replace the window motor dry the plug and fill it with dielectric grease.
I agree part of the issue is the window motors are mounted with the connector facing up so any water intrusion past the lower window belt line molding can find its way inside the connectors. I only had the issue with my passenger window acting up in damp/rainy conditions and found the paper sticker on the passenger side peeling off at the upper edge which was allowing moisture to leak into the BCM area in right footwell. After installing the rubber plugs for the 22-2242 TSB my window issues never occurred again and it's been over 6 months with lots of heavy rain in the south.

I am not saying it will fix everyone's window issue but certainly can cause the issues so is a cheap easy fix to keep moisture out of the footwell and BCM area.

The window motor, the regulator, the micro-switch in the door have all been replaced. They supposedly put dielectric grease on the plug, I guess I will find out this weekend when we pull the door apart.

I took apart my door panels to replace the speakers. I also had the ā€œbouncingā€ window. I used alcohol to clean the plugs and dielectric grease for the connection. That was 6 months ago and haven’t had a single ā€œbounceā€ since then. I also readjusted/tightened the rear motor mount and the rear windows go up full and forward like they should. Killed three birds with 1 stone! šŸ˜…
