15% here and it’s perfect for me. The only visibility issues I have are at night in poorly lit areas, backing up.. but the camera fixes that. It’s not “legal” in FL but generally police have other pressing issues than window tint. My only regret is I was being a cheap ass and didn’t get ceramic.

On my ST I had 27% for S.C. law because I HAD been ticketed in my old GT, which had 5%. It was a good contrast and all around %.

GO CERAMIC OR GO HOME! It’s probably a $40-$50 difference but 1000% worth it. The heat rejection is insane.

I wish they made the ceramic tint in 27% but it jumps from 20% to 35% (Xpel XR series). I have the 35% on my other cars and it looks good. I don't care for the look of making the back glass darker than the side glass...but that is just me and it gets hot here also. Mine is in the shop now until Friday, getting the tint, PPF and ceramic coating. I went with Xpel for everything.

Also in NC with 35% on sides and rear and never had an issue passing the inspection. I don’t believe we can tint the Windshield in NC.

Llumar makes 30% which I had on my first mustang. Closest to 27% that I’m aware of.

Thanks, unfortunately, I didn't do the research and didn't ask the shop if they have the Llumar before telling the shop to go ahead and install the Xpel 35%. I'm sure it will be fine, as it is on my other cars.

Sorry that I didn't get to reply sooner. The 35% is on my current car and I like it. Maybe not quite as dark as I want but the heat rejection is fantastic.
