Go with the minimum legal tint (not really worth the hassle to go darker).

I have 30% on my windows and 15% on the rear glass, and have no issues seeing out at night.

Also, if you can, go with ceramic tint. It's a little bit more expensive, but it's more effective at cutting heat down in the summer, and it wont drastically reduce your keyfob range like some standard metallized tints.

So does it matter if you tint in the winter? Ive heard people say its better to wait until it warms up a bit...

What do you guys think?
You want to do it when it is warm. the warm weather causes the film to shrink just slightly and adhere to the glass. Plus it evaporates and extra water behind the film.
