Does tinting the windows help the glare on the Sync screen?

I think so. My MFT screen doesn't glare at all but I'm not sure if the sync3 screen is LCD or not. Try turning up the brightness

I don't have tinted windows and haven't noticed glare on my Sync 3 System. And I pretty much live in a sunny hell in the summer.

Bought a screen protector from these guys and it helped a lot. It doesn't have a matte finish like most anti-reflective screen protectors so its crystal clear. It doesn't stop reflections as well as matte ones but it made a big difference in general for me.

No amount of tint helps when the top goes down in the summer. Of course it's really hard to see the instrument panel too.

Oh wait, that's not what you meant.

Tint is mandatory in the south, or anywhere in my opinion. Ya it helps reduce glare inside the cabin overall.
