Looking at buying this GT out of state so had a local buddy check it out for me and everything is perfect except some spots on the fender. Owner says he wasnt even aware of it, we can only guess its from a shopping cart. Whats the chances of this getting buffed out? And if not what do you think it would take cost wise to repair? Thanks!

easily. look for Turtle Wax T‑529 Label Sticker Remover ‑ 10 oz. that will take it right off. no worries. my old lady side swiped a yellow pole. you could even tell anything had hit her car after wards. great stuff

Cake, no problem at all.

Do not use the Turtle Wax suggested, or Turtle Wax anything. Ever.

Definitely looks like something that can be corrected, it isn't deep or anything. Get a pro to paint-correct the spot, pretty quick and they probably will not charge much to buff/polish that one spot.

That will probably clean up by hand with McGuire's scratch X or even there polish. I would try the polish first.

I'd use my Flex with Shine Supply classic cut, maybe even Classic Polish, and a 4" microfiber cutting pad, follow that with whatever wax/sealant you want. Looks pretty easy to take care of...

I did autocross and managed to make contact with a few cones in my first runs that made marks similar to that. I rubbed it off with my finger and never saw it again...

I think you're good. But I'd make the current owner take care of it.
