In around 8 seconds you should be able to hit 90mph in a stock A10 s550. Really hoping it’s something as goofy as the key-fob!

Really!? Keep us posted. What exactly is it doing once it hits 80mph? Falling on its face like it’s starving of fuel? Is there no other sign of issue below 80mph?
If you continue to keep the pedal to the floor, do you think the car would allow you to continue to 100mph?
Has the car ever been tuned?
Have you plugged in a scanner to check previous codes cleared?

When it hits around 80-90 it really feels like a rev limiter - Up to it there are 0 issues. Feels strong, feels like it should. Maybe feels fuel starved? IDK... No errors/warning lights. Its never shut off or went to limp mode.
100mph - im not sure, i will try it again. It just didn't feel right.
No tune that i know of - i bought used. No scanner, looking to get one. Ive never needed one as my other "car" is a 66 c10 w/350 lol.

I’m thinking something possibly involving the fuel system. Need to check for codes.

I believe that AutoZone, Advance Auto parts, and O'Reilly all offer this service. Call your local store and check before going over.

At least i know if anything is really wrong factory or the extended warrenty should cover it. Ive been watching oil and its good. When it was changed there was no metal in it or the filter.

I use this Bluetooth scan tool, and it will pull old codes that have been cleared. It’s a handy little thing.

Be prepared for the service department to tell you they're not going to drive your car at illegal speeds for troubleshooting. Hopefully, you'll have other symptoms, codes or video to present to them.

Never thought about that, which would really suck. The salesman that went on the test drive with me didn’t say a thing when I hit almost 100mph.
Maybe tell them you’d have to replicate it yourself and you prefer to take the tech for a spin with you driving? You also don’t like others driving your car? Hopefully you figure it out before you have to wait 20 more days.

What's the other car on here? Still beat you to the 60' with that R/T.
