I'm going to guess that considerable difference exists between what you consider to be "horrible street ride feel" and what it might take before I would.

But I still think they could have got within about half a second (as opposed to 1.5 seconds) without making the ride all that bad and without having to do all that many things much differently.

Tires would be a huge step in the right direction. A little firmer damping and springs would seal the deal. I think it would be easy to match the 1LE without going to a harsh suspension setup with full interior.

I agree, springs and tires should make the biggest difference. Dampening should be the icing on the cake.

Yeah, as an owner of an '11 at least, its WAAAAAAY better, and I loved my '11. This car is much much more nimble handling-wise. I toss it into turns that would cause the '11 to go sideways, and the '15 laughs.

Many will hate it until they have paid theirs off, or have money saved for a new one, or are waiting for the 350. I've seen this behavior for at least 3 gens.
Totally agree, I still daily my 2011 GT and weekend my 2015 GT and the 2015 just simply outperforms the 2011 by a long shot.

Funny, I'm a 2012 owner and I'm not jealous at all. In fact, the opposite, I'm quite pleased with this new Mustang. My only thing is, I don't want to buy a 2015 because you know they're going to improve the power and technology in 2016 and 2017. But the body style, interior and the ride quality seem to be a major improvement. Power improvement isn't a big deal to me as I know it will get bumped over time.

The only thing that really baffles me is when the 2011 came out, they treated the car like it was godlike. Now suddenly, the 2011-14's are od pieces of crap with a crappy interior and ride? It's like ????.

No the 2011 is still a great car, but the suspension improvments alone are incredible on this new one. Drive it and you'll agree. :)

What makes you think they'll upgrade power so soon? I can see small tech additions but that's about it?

2011-2014s are great, just the interior is better in the 15, styling wise is subjective. I actually think my 13 looks better because I have it lowered and everything BUT im still going to buy a GT350.

Power is the easiest fix with the aftermarket. The rest of the car is solid save for MFT.

I purchased a 14 Track Pack Grabber blue 401a premium in Aug of 2013 for 34,500 in Toronto Canada, Someone from the dealership wants to buy my car for a great price, Actualy more than I paid for it, As soon as they got a 15 PP in they called me up fpr a test drive, I liked some things about the car and disliked a few things as well, I drove the car for about 30 minutes, Shifting was good, performance was good, Brakes were good, did not like the clutch feel, way to soft, dislike,,,,,, 53,400 price tag, that to me is a bit to much for a mustang, also with 13 percent tax here in Canada thats a 60,000 car, I think I will keep my 14 for now. I bought the 14 because I liked it not because of the price tag, Love the grabber blue and track pack, I just dont love the 15 as much for that price tag, Definatly not a hater,,,, the 15 is a nice ride

Khyber, it may be $300 for sales tax but what about the personal property
tax we have to pay for Plates and registration?

I know it's probably a small sample, and everyone is an Internet keyboard commando, but I just left the anyting 2011+ Coyote group on Facebook because I was tired of hearing how the 2015s are garbage and they are the bastard offspring of a Fusion and Accord. Hell, some of them went as far as saying they'd rather have a Charger over a new Mustang. I mean, c'mon man... :frusty:

It's funny, because I've never been a huge fan of the Mustang. I've always respected it for what it was, But I've always been more of an import fan. But this new Mustang I like very much!
