Why is the rear ride height so low?

I just had Steeda pro action non adjustable shocks with ultralite lowering springs. The drop should be 1.25 in the front, and 1” in the rear. The rear looks about an inch lower than the front. The rear looks too low. Or maybe the front just isn’t low enough. A shop did it, the rears are not mixed up with the fronts. We checked. Here’s some pictures. J & M rear shock mounts were put in. I can’t think of why there’s such a difference, and neither could the shop. Here’s some pictures.

Normal. The wheel wells aren't identical. It's typical and IMO, recommended to use an 1/8" spring spacer on the back with those springs, which raises the back approx 1/4".

A stage 2 Whipple is on the way. Just called them 3 days ago. They said it’s shipping out in 2 weeks. How much will that bring down the front? It’s like 150 pounds.

Not that much, anecdotally. I was on sp763s pre and post blower and it was not a difference anyone else would have noticed.

So would 3/8” spacers be the best for a slight rake look? I want the front just a hair lower than the rear.

The S550 is just designed like that. If you search for ' rear rake' or 'spring spacers' you'll find a ton of ppl with the same prob. When I put my Steeda linear's on, I had the same stance as yours. I don't think the 1/4" rear spacer will raise it up enough for you. I threw a 3/8" spacer back there and it still didn't raise it up even with the front. I would go for the 3/8" or 1/2" if I were you.

My Bullitt also has a larger fender gap in the front (which looks like crap, by the way)... BUT the 1-1/4" drop in front vs 1" in the rear should have taken care of that. I'm not going to touch mine, since I don't want to lower ground clearance, and also because the chassis is perfectly level, so it might be a fender design flaw. Who knows.

I have to ask the shop. It’s a shop that specializes in only suspension. Although they mostly do trucks. They did everything at once yesterday: steeda proaction shocks/struts, ultralite springs, steeda camber plates, Steeda LCA bearings, FP toe to knuckle bearing, BMR cradle lockout, FP rear toe links, J & M rear shock mounts, and diff hardware kit. But along with the ride issue, I noticed a sound coming from the front left wheel area when I turn right @ Lower and higher speeds. It almost sounds like a brake rotor issue, not a grinding sound, but a spinning metallic noise. I’ve never heard the noise before. And the caliper, pads and rotors have 1000 miles on them. Something with the suspension upgrades. caused it.

It’s probably a dust shield touching the rotor. Easy fix, just bend it back with a screwdriver.

3/8 spacer will not effect performance.
