Anyone have problems with the perch rotating as you try to adjust the ride height. If so what’s your solution to stopping it.

At this time, Steeda has not heard of any issues with the adjuster rotating while attempting to adjust. Make sure the set screw is backed out to allow rotation, and that some weight remains on the spring itself. If the set screw was over torqued on installation it can damage the threads and cause this issue as well. If this is the first set-up, the spring adjuster may not be seated properly, allowing full weight to be set on the spring and the car driven a short distance, should allow the adjuster to seat.

Happy to get your contact info to discuss further with our install team if you are experiencing the issues in the OP

Bringing this back up as I too had this issue on Sunday.

Jacked car, removed wheel, loosened set screw and could not rotate at all. The entire assembly seemed to want to rotate. In addition, very little room for the adjustment wrench to be able to rotate.

STEEDA said to apply anti-seize to the threads during assembly, also load the suspension enough to prevent rotation.

Gotcha. When you did this, was there still a fair amount of effort needed or did it seem to turn more easily. Even when the suspension is not loaded, it took all of my force to try to move the adjustment an inch (set screw was fully loosened).

Just did the install last week and needed to work out a few other issues so we haven’t taken it apart to apply the anti-seize. We did try some anti-seize spray and that didn’t work so that’s why we are taking it apart to apply it.

Did you just do the install or have they been on for a while.

I had it done at the dealership while I was on vacation. They have been on about a month.

Don’t let this cloud your judgment, it’s a great kit with superior handling. Just make sure to apply anti-seize to the threads during assembly. Also STEEDA recommends to load the suspension during adjustment
