What is going on here... Looks weird to me. Different pads but this doesn't look right

As in it will look better or worse? So far they are performing good. Never noticed how much of the backing was exposed until now. 😁

Specifically what looks weird? The rotor markings or the rear pad? The pad is what you normally see, and the rotor looks fine just not entirely resurfaced by the pad yet, which will happen given a bit of time

Oh I'm sorry. It's the pad. I'm not sure why I never noticed this before. I always assumed there was a piston there

The piston is on the inside. Its a floating caliper, so only need pistons on one side. If the caliper is fixed, you have to squeeze on both sides.

It ain't broke.
