Yeah, luckily I didn't see any damage or contact. I just hate how some people like to push things. His poor planning on where to park his rig is no fault of mine. Just an inconsiderate bastard.

yeah I mean he didn't hit you, when i drove a big truck I had to get pretty close wherever I parked. It's one thing if there was truck parking or bigger spots in the back but what do you expect the guy to do, at least he didn't back his hitch through your bumper

There was parking for large trucks.

Meh, no contact no problem.
that is good driving that he managed to park so close and not make contact

and here on this site, we have had at least a few people complain that the Mustang's hood is too long, and hard to see over and its not "agile in traffic"

It is weird that he did that. Slightest miscalculation, and he could easily find himself unloading $1000 for a bumper repair. Assuming he doesn't tap the bumper, recognize the error, and then immediately find a new parking spot.

You're the only one who cares about your car. The sooner you learn that, the sooner you can take measures to protect it better.

Besides, it's not like he hit your car. So what? I could understand if he parked next to you so close that you couldn't get in your car, then you'd have a reason to get upset. But this, get over it.

If you're THAT concerned about your car, YOU need to park farther away from other people.

Guess I don't see the problem?

I'm guessing based on the comments that you don't like how close behind you he parked?

I never park anywhere near other people no matter what I'm driving. I park away from everyone in my crew cab long bed superduty and in the GT. If it absolutely can't be avoided I get an end spot and hug the curb. Most likely he was still sticking out the back of the spot more than he was comfortable with even being that close to you. Maybe he had a spotter helping him park? Parking near other people in a convenient spot....you're going to have this.

I don't see a problem if he didn't hit you. I do think it's highly retarded that with a full size truck he still needs that damn diamond plate apparatus hanging from the front bumper for storage

The poles are so he can tell where the corners of that box are. I am glad that he didn't hit my one month old car, but it is still inconsiderate to park that close to someone. Good thing I didn't need access to my trunk.

Parking is a source of friction in a lot of ways. In Dallas they required a certain percentage of spaces be sized for compact cars only. However, when you look at the lot the compact cars fill the standard spaces and the only spaces available are the pint sized spaces that a SUV takes one and a half to park in. This lead to a lot of unhappy people and nasty notes about your parking skills.
