+1 for preferring the cleaner lines without the spoiler.

Me too. I removed or ordered without it from all stangs I've owned except my 11 cs. I didn't wanna fool with it. My 90 gt had one. Didn't remove it.

Your wrong, he added to it by stating anyone over a certain age blah blah blah. By doing that he took it from his opinion on whether he liked it or not and threw an insult at others over a certain age.

An opinion is that I like or dislike the spoiler.... Which is basically what the OP asked. It was taken past an opinion and became a personal judgement against those that liked it.

You understand the difference yet?

I suspect the spoiler is functional to help improve fuel economy, and is removed from the PP versions because it would effect downforce.

I ordered my 2015 Mustang Convertible Base V6 with the upgraded 051A Package. Included the 18`` Foundry Wheels & Tires, Fog Lamps, Power Driver Seat (and) The "ugly" Blade Spoiler! I ordered it with the Spoiler Delete Option 13D. I would have paid (extra) to delete that ugly broken metal hockey stick handle. Like adding "Rhino Bars" on the headlamps and tail lamps of a SUV. Simply adds nothing to the Cars appearance and in poor taste if your over 25 years old.
*you're

If spoilers are in poor taste for people over 25, there must be a lot of teenagers driving Ferrari F50s and 911 GT3s.

I'll be adding the GT350 spoiler, assuming they sell it stand alone.

Looks like a satin black painted non GT spoiler to me.

Kinda looks like the generic trim to fit spoilers on eBay:(. I highly doubt there's any function whatsoever from the factory Mustang spoiler unless you were going 150mph.

What?

Insulting or not, passing personal judgment or not, it most certainly is an opinion.

As far as insulting opinions go, that particular opinion is pretty tame. Anyone getting their knickers in a knot over it needs to step away from the keyboard, have drink or two and relax - at least in my opinion.

55 here, I love tastefully done spoilers...but I'd pay extra to NOT have that one on the GT350

I am personally indifferent on it. I do like the clean look of a wingless deck (always liked the wingless Evos, STIs, and Supras that I've seen) But also don't mind the stock GT spoiler as it's pretty subtle. If I order my car, I'll likely delete it. But, if I end up with a car off the lot that has the spoiler I wouldn't be at all disappointed.

Also, i think it looks great in the pic that the OP posted.

I'm a fan of spoiler blades on cars that tend to have conservatively modeled rear decks, like your typical German sedan and coupe. If a car is designed to account for this to begin with by having some type of integrated kick-up in the rear, like the S550's, it looks a little like it's added for the sake of it. As a result I prefer the clean look of the PP. If there's gonna be a spoiler, either design a new trunk lid and make it integrated, or go big and add a functional wing.
