I've been driving my R in the slush and below freezing conditions. Few days I couldn't get out of my driveway do to a recent snowfall, but other than that, it is my daily driver still. Warmed up this week and the snow is gone, which is nice.
I've heard the tires that come on the R can't be driven below freezing. They have been known to crack on the edges. That's why ford doesn't make any during the winter. Loading them below freezing will crack the tires. Corvettes had that happen two years ago and had to replace a lot of tires @ the dealerships. Just a heads up. Don't know if you changed your tires.

My 350 has been on jack stands the past 2 weeks, I'm installing and wiring the coolers.
But there is way too much salt on the road for my liking to go for a drive. Probably won't be out until sometime in March.

There is a lot of salt on the roads where I live in central Pa due to a recent snow storm. I'm waiting for the next rainfall to wash the majority of it off the road before I drive mine again to make sure the battery stays charged and keep the joints lubed and whatnot. Supposedly sometime next week we will have a few days in the 50's.

What a difference 1400 or so miles make...Here's the temp from my commute earlier this week..
*sigh* Yep. The bitter cold has made an earlier-than-usual appearance here in NH. I am looking forward to the Spring and Summer....

Currently cheating that as well. It is stored in a heated garage when I am not driving it or when I am at work. Will most certainly have them inspected though upon track season. (Although I should grab a new set of wheels and tires before I cannot for the life of me decide on a set).

I'm still driving mine ~1-2x a week in Northern VA...I'll keep doing that as long as the temperature is slightly above freezing and there's not a ton of salt on the road.

All of those living in the southern States and driving their cars in the winter should stop posting in this thread cuz it really sucks reading your replies. :paddle:

Yeah, keep rubbing it in, Harold

I gotta say this is the only aspect of winter I don't like.

I drove mine on Sunday here in Dallas. It was blue sky and 16 degrees. The oil temp was low. I might could have tracked it without diff cooler.

That's why I left Detroit area right out of college. Could not drive my 1970 mach1 with all that salt and the girls were like the weather COLD.
