I started with a 2016 track pack... sold and bought a 2016 R... Sold and bought another flat plane crank engine... different kind. I will stick with this for a long time.. I am still pinching myself to believe it's true.

Bought a 12 Boss new and traded it 2 years later on a 14 GT500 thinking I was "upgrading". Huge regret. I could've skipped that GT500 and traded it off on my R and would have been very ok with that. Now that I have my R paid off, I would buy another very low mile 12 Boss to daily around in.

On my 3rd GT350. Bought my 2016 track pack and sold it to buy a 2016 R. Sold the 2016 R for a 2017 R. Now waiting for my 21 GT500

I traded my 2018 LFG (bought new) last October for an S4, but this June I realized I hate flappy paddles and wanted more excitement, so I picked up a used 2018 lighting blue, with old man seats. The LFG had the engine replaced, the rear cylinder plate replaced, the AC compressor replaced too. I traded it at 28k miles. The Gen2 motor was good, used about 1 quart of oil about 2k miles. The one I bought used has original Gen1 motor and in the 3K miles I’ve driven it….not a drop of oil used. Soooo anyone else, sell then regret and just get another one?
Started with a 2016. Sold after working too much and not driving it. Bought a 2019 Mustang GT with the automatic, put about 500 miles on it and realized it wasn't going to take the place of the 350. Traded in on a 2019 FPB GT350 which I loved and was the first time I tracked my 350. Traded that in on a GT500 just because I got a sticker price deal, debated trading in the 350 but they gave me what I paid for it so I traded it in. Loved the 500 but missed the 350 so I bought a 2020 HEP. Was always driving the HEP so I sold the 500. Then thought I wanted to become a collector so I bought a 2015 brand new with 44 miles on it. This sat on the rack and I couldn't stand it just sitting there so I sold that and just recently bought a 2020R. I think I am finally set. Absolutely love the Heritage for what it is and resembles and I think the R is probably the best car I have ever owned. What's crazy is all of this except for the 2016 took place in the last 18 months. Maybe I have a problem........

Wow! Quite a run of cars indeed. But you got what you want and had fun, that’s what counts.

I'm on my second transmission and AC compressor. Does that count?

My last car was an '08 RS4 - it was amazing. Since then, Audi abandoned manual transmission enthusiasts. Too bad, I'd be driving a new RS5 Sportback if they sold it with a manual.

There are a lot of cars I'd like to have but they don't have manual. It's my #1 annoyance car shopping now. Even harder if you want AWD and manual.

You could get a S5 coupe with a manual up until 2019, but it’s a rare find. When I retire next year I’m thinking of getting a manual R8 or a 991 or 991 911 4s, or a 997.2 GTS 4 manual. They do exist but rarer than most others

The R8 is gorgeous, and holding its value amazingly well. The Porsches are definitely options. I've read that the 992 7MT is their best, although I haven't driven one yet.

Bought a 2016 GT350 new. (The cars had just been released and the dealers were gouging buyers. I found a small, family dealership in OK who would sell at MSRP, so my wife and I flew there from Atlanta and road tripped it home.) Traded that car on a 911 Turbo S. I wouldn't call that a mistake, but I missed the manual and the screaming engine, so I traded the Turbo S for a GT3 in 2019. When the 'last call' announcement for the GT350 came out last year, I looked for and found a new 2020. Both Shelby's were/are race red. Beautiful, special cars.

Nice set of cars. I've had a 997.1 C4S and a 997.2 C4S before, slightly modded. I need another 911 in my life to sit beside my 350. GT3 prices are way up!!

My wife is whispering the same thing to me about the GT3 (she thinks I have too many cars...), and I've had a couple friends suggest I should cash in while the market is this crazy. The problem is that replacing it with a 992 version would be very expensive, assuming I could even get a dealer allocation. So far, the only opportunities I've come across are cars that have already been spec'd, and the dealers are asking $30 - $50K above MSRP, so that's a 'no' for me.

I had a '16 Tech on which I added a transmission cooler so I could track it. I traded it in for a '19R just as the pandemic closed the tracks. I was able to get out several times this year and love it!
