Not tune problem, the tune did exactly what it's supposed to do. Bad quality gas.

Any idea why it was pulling timing and sensing knock? Tune issue or something else?
It's always sensing knock. The system tries to optimize spark advance in all cylinders at all time. Depending on conditions it will vary timing. Add better gas, it adds more timing, lower octane takes away. His was hovering at 0 adding/subtracting above 6000 which means it was right at nominal. If it knocks it lowers if it doesn't it adds. Nothing wrong it's the way it's designed.

That's one feature to our cal and how it works with 91, 93, 94, 104 and adapts at all times, we ran in nearly every environment from 0 to 120 deg in a lab, 0-6000 feet, 3.25" to 4.0 pulley to build the cal to be fully adaptable to all conditions.

Exactly what he ^ said. My gas was the culprit, not the tune.

Yes and it's what I'm really interested in seeing. Some good trap speed to compare with other systems like roush and TVS. To me Whipple has lots of potential to compete and even exceed those guys, but just havn't proved it on the track yet. Keep up the good work man.

How do you data log your timing advance, Whipple above is referring to your timing being at 0 none pulled.

Was referring to the knock sensor not adding or subtracting. We actively use the knock sensor to optimize power. You can data log with SCT, HP Tuners or Diablo.

Installed the new Pump and the DSS Half Shafts today. The pump was a messy job, wish there was a better way of draining the reservoir other than removing the hoses. The half shafts was a easy job, took about 30min for each side. The old ones popped off with out having to pry them, just a couple strong tugs was all it took for mine.

Alright guys like I promised here is the best time I ran tonight. [email protected]. Dustin and his team worked real hard on this cal & put a lot of hours getting this cal ready, I was fortunate to be albe to test it out for him, and man there hard work payed off, the car ran amazing. I need some suspension mods to get the full potential out of the cal in the quarter. But as it sits I can hit consistant 10.5's while spinning on launch... :headbang: Thanks Dustin, & like always more to come :gossip:
