I have one of the first 2.9 blowers built for the S550. My black s550 was one of the first cars built and my car was the 6th car flashed by Whipple.
Not that any of that is important, buy kudos to Will at Whipple for taking the time with me today to update my tune, I went with the 72# injectors and the 3.625 pulley and Flare tool. Im really looking forward to the update as my original tune was lacking many updates and changes.

Not sure what number I am but I was definitely one of the initial people to get one for the 2015

Awesome your gonna love it. I have had mine since February 2015 and have stayed current throughout and you are in for a whole new car [emoji106]

Oh you will. I can even feel a difference with the last upgrade along with 72 pounders even using flight control on the first 3 gears.

I look forward to your update.

Oh, and yes William is great. Hell, the whole Whipple team is great.

What kind of boost is that?

Gotcha. I'm still baffled as to why the tq is so low on these cars

This has been said many times but torque is nearly the same as all 11-14 motors, the difference is the HP. The hp is climbing at a much higher rate due to more cam timing control, better heads and extra rpm.

You can run more timing and higher airflow at higher rpm, in low to mid rpm if you push to hard they have a tendency to detonate.

Thanks for the explanation! I've been curious since starting to seriously look into going FI and I was always confused because I know the torque numbers were massive on other builds. I think my buddy's old 03 cobra made in the 7's wheel and into the 8's tq. So I was always wondering where the big disparity came from
