They didn't come with instructions so I'm trying to figure out what to do here.

The whipple instructions say to install the injectors into the fuel rail and then lock them into place with the lock bracket...but they add that tuner kits with other injectors may not apply this lock bracket

(single spray injectors normally do not have to be clocked at a certain position... they say)

So what do I do? Any help or pictures would be VERY helpful!

Thanks!

I should add the lock bracket does not appear to fit at all over these injector bodies like it shows in the whipple pictures on whipple injectors...

My ID 1000s did not require the lockers. The two bolts for the rail are enough pressure. I have a Procharger though.

Ok so no injector lock bracket thats fine....but when I put them onto the whipple manifold, they are sticking up a 1/2 inch(shown in red)

So is there supposed to be a spacer there? And shouldn't I need longer bolts now? BAMA/American Muscle where are you? This is frustrating...:(

The injector is fully seated in the rail and the manifold. The rail is still a 1/2" above the manifold mounting point.

Their show was this weekend. Hopefully someone with a Whipple chimes in.

It looks like you got the longer id1000's. Its no big deal just put some washers under the rail and tighten it down.

There is no clocking just make sure the o-rings are seated.

Haha I'm not stacking washers under there. Are there shorter id1000s? I wonder if they sent the wrong ones

People put spacers in all the time. I wouldn't worry one bit. I bet they send some out.

Remove the purple injector spacers. The kit is designed mid length fuel injectors. This should be roughly 48mm from oring to oring. There is no room for spacing up, not an option.

Injector locks are not needed for single pattern injectors.

ID1000 EV14s are 48mm injectors, and you have the 60mm top hat extensions on them. Just yank the hats off and you are where you want to be.
