i have seen alot of people mod a sound tube to get whine out of the whipple....

But what about from outside the car doing drive bye can you hear a whine?

Im keen on either a whipple or a procharger i know they are diffrent but i dont want my car to sound stock.

thanks!

Older whipples like gen 3 or 4 whine some from the out side (more if running small pulley)

Gen 5 I can barely hear

Gen 5 is dead silent, you will hear the hpfp ticking over the supercharger.

Procharger sounds like a jet engine with the idle constantly up and down

I removed the hood liner, and the rear rubber seal under the hood, and you can hear the whine a little more from outside the car. My car has the old dinosaur gen 2 though.

I can hear my gen5 clearly but it’s a slightly lower pitch than earlier gen Superchargers I’ve heard on YouTube. It’s def not super loud. I have a 15-17 w stock exhaust so it’s going to be quite a bit quieter (a bad thing, except to hear the whine) than your ‘20

Unfortunately the only whine mod offered would be a fosters whine mod but that's for in cabin. A open air filter and removing the hood trim would also bring out more supercharger noise, but not a whole lot.

Termi boys love the whine
Yes. Yes we do. Had two of em with Whipple 2.3 running stock exhaust. They did whine. More like scream. The VMP? Once in a while a very slight whirr just off idle. Otherwise silent.
