That's not trolling. It's setting facts.

So far all I've seen is speculation to which whipple has countered and disproven continuously.

How have they ? So far I've just seen their opinions and no facts.

They made a bold statement saying no tuner can beat their numbers when in fact they've been beaten.

They stated his low dyno numbers are due to the gear he was in on a manual. This is not the case.

I've dynod in three different gears with a manual and have gotten the same number back each time. Within a hp or two.

From what I'm told this is true for HP but not torque

Dude why are you trolling all the whipple threads? Get out of here. I don't have any allegiance towards one sc over another but I can't stand people that troll and argue nonstop.

Hey white knight. Buzz off. People are talking tech and asking questions.

Feel free and see some posts. I'm keeping procharger honest as well.

I personally owned a dynojet 248c inertial dyno for several years, and still use the one I use to own. I can tell you that on THAT DYNO changing gears has minimal impact on the reading. Variance run to run is greater.

That said, I have not put a lot of research into or spent much time on a brake dyno, and therefore cannot comment if this type of dyno would reflect greater differences.

A chassis dyno is displaying engine power as measured at the wheels, not wheel power. This is why we dont measure like 5000HP in first gear, and 500 in 5th.

Either way, the torque can be tuned in more aggressively it sounds like, if someone wants to load their rods like that.

Do you know how many hours, miles and dyno runs we have? Thousands, literally thousands. 4th gear shows less torque due to the gear ratio. Its not a myth, its a fact. HP is the same, torque is not.

Not sure you are understanding the facts. You can only make so much HP with a cal. If anyone is making more power, its because they have exceeded one or all 3 items I listed which we feel very strongly against. Or they have added parts. Our cal has been tested on all octanes, including 87 and 89 (it hurts to hear that noise it makes), cold and hot, high and low elevation....

Why would w custom tune use your cal ?

We just had someone who owns a dyno dispute you as well.

Hey now I am not disputing anyone LOL just stating my experience on one particular type of dyno. 99.9% of all time I have spent around dynos has been this specific machine... I dont have the diverse dyno type experience.

We have had a similar experience. On an auto. Gear does matter

Nobody can use our tune, its encrypted and not being unlocked. But its simple, X timing, X AFR, X boost, X cam position will usually net you X HP. Millions of other factors, but most would be constant from a tuner to a "canned" tune. Change one of these and you move the number up or down. One can run richer AF, more timing, but we found it nets the same power or less. One can run leaner AF and less timing, it certainly nets less.

And it really doesn't matter what you think, we know the truth. We've done it on our dyno, on 2015 Mustangs as well as the 11-14 Mustangs. It does matter. HP the same, rwtrq is not between 4th and 5th.....

My opinion does in fact matter. I may have another 5.0 sitting here looking for a power adder. So perhaps you may want to rethink how you respond to people. I'm not baiting you to jump into an argument.

I am debating you though.

From my point of view you are badgering more than debating......

I'm all for this debate, hell I'm glad it's happening so people can get the answers they need.

It's all in the approach.

I ask questions directly. When I get an answer that doesn't sound right or I have something that disproves it I'm quick to say so.
