Of course its in development as it has been for some time. What I'm getting at is knocking a kit for its components when it hasn't even been released. You don't know what will or will not be in that kit until it has been released. You're speculating right now. Remember when we changed the pulley and injectors and added a pump voltage regulator last time ? 750 + wheel hp on pump gas through the stock manifolds and catalytic converters.
Yeah,...that is INSANE!!
I saw the video on Youtube a while back. Very impressive. Will that be the Phase 2 or Phase 3 kit that is on the video? I'm assuming that's a Phase 3 upgrade.

750 on pump gas? You mean you pumped gas out of a 55 gallon barrel of 104? Lol and that was emissions legal and passed durability? One can turn knock sensors off and make a glory pass on a dyno, doesn't mean much in the real world.
As for speculating, is there any incorrect info there?? No
Yes,....93 octane, pump gas. Pretty insane, huh?

Try 93 octane
You doubled the stock power (202%), with stock exhaust, reliably, on 93 octane? Are you also offering ocean front property in Nebraska as well? Amazing even with 10deg more timing and race gas, the 627 kit didn't make that!

If your not offering it, then it doesn't exist....... try fixing the torque control issues and respond to the customers having issues with 627hp before you dream about more power... Business 101, take care of current customers to get new customers. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28743

Not insane, you can turn the knock sensor off and make a pull, not magic. It will never, ever be a "kit". Look at stage 1, 2 and 3 for 11-14. While we have more cam control, little better parts, making 880 engine hp is not reality with that kit on a stock engine, 2.3 TVS, undersized IC and heat exchanger, 93 octane with stock exhaust and supplied throttle body with any reliability! David Copperfield couldn't even make that happen.

Why is whipple always trying to knock the competition? OP went with a TVS, end of story. No need to try and disprove Roush claims. The Roush SC is perfect SC for the average person who wants a bump in power while maintaining a warranty.

If someone wanted to go big, I am sure they would opt for a turbo.

Whipple, we get that you are passionate about your product. That being said, knocking others or direct competition is never going to get you anywhere. You should just congratulate the OP and thank him for considering your kit.

Well it's because he is trying to give people accurate information. I am sure he will loose no sleep over the OP choosing Roush. The fact is there is behind the scene shenanigans going on that is unfortunate for a lot of people that do not have the accurate information to make informed decisions.

Take it for what it's worth, I'm not tying to start a debate here I'm just trying to shed a little light on what's going on. Say what you will about Whipple but they will answer ANY question asked and not pull wool over anyone's eyes.

Some people will argue their answers but they are a straight forward company with no tricks up their sleeves.

750rwhp on pump gas out of a Coyote is...not very likely. E85, race gas (or lots of Torco), sure. 93 pump? You're pushing your luck.

I'm a stickler for accurate info. With accurate info, others can make educated decisions which is better for anyone.

Example, "maintaining" warranty is not accurate. Your factory Powertrain warranty is void and you're getting a supplemental warranty. As for turbo, that would be "big" but calibration is difficult and emissions is nearly impossible on the 15-16. That's a very limited market. Therefore most want max power vs $$ while keeping daily drivability capacity.

The Roush is a good quality product, but for similar pricing, it's apples to oranges. We used their hardware for a few years and know the advantages/disadvantages from that. Making more, safer and reliable power, easier to install, better packaging and the highest powered emission legal system is what came from knowing the issues and how to make it better.

Not knocking, just sharing real information. Some feel the information is helpful, some may not.

Congratulating someone for buying a competitors product, I don't see how that's necessary. If someone made a decision purely based off a $995 supplemental warranty, I can't knock that but certainly can't praise it. C'mon man, you know, just like almost everyone else that gets the 627 urns for more, when the urge finally gets them, they threw away $995 and now need to contact Lund for a tune, get a smaller pulley, bigger injectors and a boost a pump. Far exceeding the original budget and original plan of the warranty. Once you have the performance bug, it's hard to stop, I think we can all agree on that.

Not knocking your system, and let's take the brand of system completely out of the equation.

Making 750whp on 93 octane, and having it usable in real world conditions with a margin of safety is just not feasible. About 675-685whp is the limit we've seen in testing before we start to get some knock. That's with a very efficient 3.2L KB, huge intercooler, and heat exchanger, 125 degree downstream IAT's, Shell 93 octane, and playing with cam timing for month of testing.

You CAN make more, as we've made 710whp, but you get some knock from time to time. We've made as much as 732whp at 11-12psi, but it required a little Torco to keep the knock at bay.

So, we try not to advertise or market these power levels, as they're really not something that our customers can do without running Torco. Granted, if they want to run that, they can. :)

We have Ken Christley at KB, Lund Racing, and Whipple has factory level tuning support. We agree with Whipple on this one..

I must be one of the few that are happy with the 550rwhp of the 627 Roush kit.

I think there might be more than one happy with the Roush 627...

Amazing reliability and oh so very street-able. Torque curve is a mile wide.

Sorry for the crap photos, I was pretty stoked after the drive!

A big thanks to Korum Ford for letting me take this beast out for a test drive. If I didnt have a OWPP in transit I would be all over this.
Someone bought the car, had Korum install the Roush SC and a few other goodies(Roush spoiler, 1" lowering springs, exhaust) and then decided that the paint was not good enough. Korum respayed and blended the areas objected to but the buyer still was not satisfied. The GM said enough is enough and just bought the vehicle back. Besides being black and having Recaro's this is a sublime :ford:

Mine has the auto and it took a few hundred miles, but the adaptive learning of the trans finally adjusted to the additional power when I floor it. I know I'm gonna want more power in the future, but phase 2 will be along in a year or so. I have really missed the consistency of the 6r80 and LOVE the paddle shifters. I also love walking pretty much everything that tries me.
