I was thinking about getting the whipple gen 5 but then I seen the Edelbrock 2650 on Beefcake racing website under $6000 for the tuner kit. (Seems like good deal). Unfortunately I know very little about the EB kit and don’t see a lot of people running the edelbrock but I do see TONS of people running the Whipple Gen 5

I want to know if the edelbrock is better than the whipple. Some pros and cons for both. If you have some experiences or knowledge I would love to know

Get the one that suits your driving style or your budget. They are both good kits and you will win either way.

I want a blower I can have fun with on the street. I really don’t track my car

Can't go wrong with both, but for a pure street car... probably the TVS 2650. Will make the TQ faster and lower in the RPM, makes a fun street car with that instant hit.

Either one is a good choice. Both work really well on the car. If you are going to stay with the "canned" tune provided with the complete kit, then I think that Whipple has the better tune. Also, on the Edelbrock, injectors are hard to switch out if you plan on upgrading in the future.

Great choices!
If you plan on keeping the warranty that comes with them I believe the EB warranty is the more sought after one.

My goal is 750-800 whp and I’m doing a custom tune due to headers and e85

Either kit will get you there, they're both very similar.

I have the edelbrock stage 2 and I like it a lot.

Extremely quiet, people think my car is stock until the gas goes down.

Both will easily do the power level you’re looking for. Like they said above, the 2650 will hit harder down low and the Whipple will have more top end power. Can’t go wrong with either. Both well built, awesome kits.
