I noticed this morning that my GT350R didn’t sound right when i started it up. There is a quiet whining sound. Out of gear at idle it is present and when putting it in gear and going, the pitch of the sound goes up with the RPMs. Anyone have an idea?

Mine whines in the same way when the AC is on so I’m worried about the compressor.

Id suggest checking your oil level asap. I had a whining when the car was warm, noticed it when in idle when stopped. Very light throttle made the whine more high pitched. Clutch in made no difference to the whine.

Static/noise due to the faux engine noise pumped in thru the speakers? Did you accomplish the Forscan cockpit noise delete procedure?

I’m not sure what that is. Could you explain it please?

I’ll check the level when i get a small break at work. I would hope its good considering the dealer just had it last week.
