That's all you got? A couple pictures and a smart ass comment?? A little more info would be nice. Did the car set for a long period of time? To get on here and just post up a random post bashing e85 isn't helping anybody out. Looks like they're covered in oil not gas? Are those factory injectors? Need a little more info before you point the finger

E85 can deteriorate some materials but I've never heard of it turning to sludge like that. In fact it burns very clean and I've only seen engines running E85 to be very clean internally. For the best insurance with E85 buy good injectors such as ID1050's or ID1300's that are made for Ethanol and a fuel system designed for it.

I would run e85 since it's 1/4 of the cost of vp100 and it's 105 octane. As for the e hater who doesn't even know what the pic they posted is...the black goo buildup only happens to higher mile cars that finally make the switch to e, regardless of what injectors are being used. It is the byproduct of alcohol (ethanol) cleaning out your entire fuel system. You can simply soak the injector tips in a cup of gasoline, swirl them around and wipe them clean. You can also run a tank of 91/93 once a month to help clean out any reside the ethanol has left behind while it was cleaning up and making power.

These issues. Screw e85. Enjoy that happening to your car
4 injectors? So this was from a 15-17 Mustang? Such great context with those pictures...

E85 , our fuel systems can handle it very well ( gas tank is hardened plastic for example no rust there) I run VP m2 every fill up to prevent any issues anyway , plus lubrication for fuel pump and upper cylinders) plus the cooling effect and 105 octane for cheap.

I switched back to race gas in my 92 Eagle Talon TSI for the same reason. It still runs race gas and no ethonalfrom pump gas eirher. On my Mustang with it being setup for e10. E85 works on the stock fuel system.

It's a different car for sure , only time I'll be on 93 will be to store for winter. E 85 is addicting it makes such a difference in power throughout the whole power band

All New Ford vehicles have a ethanol fuel friendly fuel system from factory. It's standard now . Our fuel tanks are plastic and fuel lines are stainless leading to the engine , not like older days where metal tanks send rust to the injectors. Also as long as you drive the car once a week it has been proven that the e85 won't start to have water fuel separation.

Zero issue here with E85. It's my preference always, and I daily my 1000+WHP car. The car runs so much smoother, no carbon buildup anywhere, and I don't mind saving more than $1/galon at the pump either.

I’m running E85 I have a fore dual pump fuel system. Should I run 93 to clean things up every once in a while ? How often ?
