When doing lowering springs, is there anything else that should be done at the same time in the rear? Basically to avoid taking stuff apart a second time.

Thanks!

BMR CB005 would be a good idea.

Just make sure you don't do the CB005 first THEN the springs, you'll feel retarded like I did lol

Trim the bump stops. Are you getting shocks too?

I was planning on reusing my PP shocks. They only have 9k miles on them.

Shocks and BMR CB005. Steeda Billet rear shock mounts too.

PP shocks are better than non-PP, but you still may want to consider upgrading.

What springs are you going with? BmacIL is a suspension genius and can tell you what would be best matched with the springs you've chosen.

I was leaning towards the BMR SP080 springs or Steeda Ultra Lite. Will be for looks/little better handling. Not a track guy, just some canyon carving and daily driver in the summer months.

Since you have a GT PP:
BMR SP080
BMR CB005
Steeda Billet shock mounts for the stock shocks

You will love it. It's a killer combo that doesn't trade any ride quality away for better handling and better looks

Sounds like that is the way to go then! Now just have to wait for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals.

Hey nuked, i think you should take a look at our Steeda Sport progressive springs. they are wildly popular and offer a 145-225 front rate and a 525 - 820 rear with a 1.15 in front and 1in rear drop.

These springs give a great ride and solid handling.

If you would like a linear spring our Steeda sport linear offer a 200f/800r rate with a 1in drop front and rear

We also offer the minimum drop springs for a .5in drop all around and 200f/750r rate.

I also recommend our Steeda Stop the Hop Starter kit for people that like to backroad and canyon carve the car

This.

I have this same combo and it's a fantastic upgrade.
