Wheels - best bang for the buck?

I've been looking at a LOT of wheel ads and specs... man the wheel world has exploded in the past 15 or 20 years.

I'm not cheap but I like to get value in everything I buy.

I found Aodhan flow forged wheels that seem to have decent reviews and decent prices. But nothing for the S550 I can find.

Leads up to the question: where's the best value in what IS available?

I'd look into Apex and LMR's offerings; they have several popular styles, flow-formed, lighter than factory. You can buy 4-piece sets, with Gorrila lugs included (LMR).

Yes I like the Velgen wheels but they're expensive. Same with the Apex. I wonder who is actually making them...

LMR sells 4-piece sets, with lugs, for close to a grand. About 10 lb / 4.5 kg lighter per wheel than factory in several styles that work well (IMO) on the S550. We also have a classified section below. There might be someone close-by with something you'd be interest in.

a set "close to a grand" is cheap...
they won't be flow formed or lighter than stock.
I personally run Savini SV-F series.
They are very light and semi pricey.

What are you looking for? They make plenty of wheels that fit the S550.

Check LMR's Ebay page, they often have deals on single wheels or sets that were used for display or possibly returned. You can get a whole set for $6-800.

Last year I got 19x10/19x11 with good tires for under $1000.

AR 924's are relatively inexpensive, lighter than stock, look great, and come in several colors and sizes.

I’d look at Facebook marketplace and craigslist. You can get takeoff GT500 wheels and Mach 1 wheels for cheap. I just got a set of PP2 wheels with super sport tires for $1200
