These are the black lugs I purchased.

Not really concerned about the locks. More concerns that Ford would use chrome lugs on black wheels.:tsk:
Thanks, I just bought the same ones. Agree with black looking much better. Having 20 locking lug nuts might slow someone down a little and make the operation a little louder as having to pound a socket onto each one will attract some attention.

In Sport Mode ... ALL THE TIME!
I ordered the wheel locks Ford recommended for the car based on my part department guys research. I'm sure they're nothing special, again just a "slow them down" kind of thing. The lugs are on backorder, should have them in a couple weeks. If it were easier to throw photos up here without having to host them elsewhere first I'd share photos of them when they arrive!

Really, it's damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Gorilla makes a nice set that uses a large hex key for each lung nut that I have used in the past. It's not as common as a regular lug nut, but common enough a thief could have the proper tool to remove. I think the basic idea is to have something other than the standard lugs on the car and not have a single locking lug that looks out of place.

Edit: I'm not sure if Gorilla offers these in the correct thread for the newer metric studs.

Ok Ok, now I've got it. I need five of these kits, with 5 different keys. At $20 each will come to $100, and drive the mechanics crazy when I need new tires, I could mix and match the locks to different wheels so you never know what key works what nut, lmao. Lets see someone hammer a socket onto these!
I have a set of these on mine. What's nice about them is that sleeve creates a thin wall so a standard socket can't fit inbetween to hammer one on.
