Tried that during installation... no dice.

Just went for a spin to test; definitely an improvement across the board.
The car feels much tighter, by the seat of the pants I’d have to say the handling has improved. Wheel hop is dramatically reduced; if I leave hard off the line the tires spin without any hop. Still jumping around on a 1-2 power shift but not nearly as bad as stock.
Overall I’m happy with the improvement... already looking towards the next step. What’s the next best addition? Vertical links?
Yes, vertical links!

Rear LCA bearings, the Ford Performance toe knuckle bearings. Vertical links are pretty minor.

Agreed, I have vertical links and I’d say they helped me about 5%. I don’t even mention having them because they’re not worth the money IMO. I have the Steeda units and they are of the highest quality, just not a worthwhile part to spend time on.

Steeda vertical links are a big upgrade over stock ones. And help a lot! I drag race my car just about every week, lots of experience I highly recommended vertical links.

Yep. They help with inside wheel chatter but I didn't notice much for straight line. Getting rid of deflection (and tires) is how you fix it.

I'm not Mr.Dragracer or anything, but I've been happy with everything I've gotten from Steeda for my car. Start with Vertical Links, LCA Bearings, IRS subframe Brace, Toe Link bearings (ford part), and Diff Bushings.

I started with Black Diff bushings and IRS alignment dowels and ran from there.

Jigar has been my go to guy at Steeda.

Agreed. Check the list of shit under my car.
My theory was to pin the subframe to the car first, THEN pin the LCA to the subframe properly.
Vertical links were the very last thing I added to that list of bits and I honestly can’t say that they did a huge amount for wheelhop.
LCA bearing and CB005 were the prime motivators in getting rid of it. Everything else is incremental.

Got everything installed last night. Good fit, bushing spacers and frame braces went in easy. Only thing I'm not ecstatic about is that the drivers side subframe brace is touching the gas tank.... Any comment on that TJ??

Raining here now but hopefully it'll clear up and Il have a chance to try it out later this eve.
I don’t know if SteedaTech is working on this - send me your contact info and let me have one the Installers see what may be taking place
