This is the ONLY video showing it hop like this so something feels off to me. I haven't heard one owner complain of it either. If they dumped the clutch at 4500 then any car will hop.

Most wheel hop comes from poor launching.
I have seen several review videos with the wheel hop occuring. They don't mention it in most but I've heard and seen it in other videos. It's definitely a problem, and I'm confident someone will come up with a fix for it.

If you go to your Ford dealer and complain about wheel hop don't be surprised if they void your warranty right there.
Not true. This car was designed by Ford TO DO BURNOUTS and they would not void your warranty for doing them.

I really want this car but I would think Ford would've have fixed this problem. Is this an easy fix? Is it expensive to fix? Would I go to ford about this problem for repair? Or take it to a Shop that works on mustangs? What causes wheel hop? Is it the tires, springs shocks the new IRS?
You can blame soft bushings, chosen to soften the ride quality and keep noise out of the cabin, for most of it. Every bushing from the bushings at the ends of the rear suspension linkage components, to the rear subframe bushings, to the engine and transmission mounts has the potential to store and release energy under the right (wrong?) conditions and have it show up as wheel hop.
