What phone holder are you using?

As the title suggests, what (if anything) are you guys using to mount your phone in your car?

I've got an iPhone 6 with an Otterbox Defender case and the pickings seem to be slim. I have had the ProClip USA mount for a while, but am yet to install it as I think it looks a bit ordinary - see below (also have the actual phone holder that fits to this mount).

The Scosche holders seem to be popular with our US friends, but most of these require being stuck with double sided tape to the dash - something which I'd rather avoid.

Cup holder mounts are also out as they would obviously obstruct the gear stick and suction cup holders are, well, meh.

There is a similar thread in the US section, however some of their solutions are not suitable for RHD cars.

Any ideas?

I have been using the ClicOn mounts as shown in your photo for the last 5 cars and they have been excellent. I've been getting them locally through https://www.holdmyphone.com.au/ . I'm not quite as sure about the positioning of this one as it is very high and obtrusive.

I have always hated the idea of drilling holes in cars, so this was a good option for me. Might buy it and give it a go to see how I like it.

This may be a silly question but why do you need to have your phone out at all? Mine stays in my bag and I just use it through Sync

In the centre console. It's connected via Bluetooth so I don't really need to see it.

I keep mine in the centre console. I have no idea why anyone would need their phone on the dash. The concept of a phone being mounted on your dashboard is outdated, in my opinion.
