The noise on a cold start is one of the best things about these cars!

Neighbours probably didn't like me that day............................

Sounds awesome 👍 I think my cold start at the moment stock exhaust with xpipe messured using my iPhone is at 115 db.

Still loud but not obnoxiously - Before the resonator was installed the dyno tuner could only tune at 1:00pm as you could here the car from 1km away!

Wow that’s loud.

Mine being the EU-spec Borla Touring, it has the resonator show above. Even the combo of the quieter Touring mufflers and resonator (a resonated H-pipe) it's plenty load and is actually above the legal noise limit. I don't think many people realise that when buy US spec exhaust systems.

At the moment, I'm contemplating what to do with my S650. The Active Exhaust made such a huge difference when they brought it to market, so much so that I'm not sure I will need to make any changes like a had to do with my FM S550, which was just so choked down. At the most, I'm thinking of just having an X-pipe installed, just to get that sharper tone out of it instead of the deeper sound of my current setup.

Yeah I have an X pipe on the Jag which gives the more howly, angry note, and went for an H pipe on the Mustang for the fat 70's throbby note, every so often I feel like a change and I've considered getting an X pipe as well as I think they might be swappable and no welds, I could change them at each tune. I'm having the car serviced Monday and might check it out then.

If you do decide to change your H pipe any chance could I have a listen to it first, I was thinking of changing mine to a H pipe.
cheers Peter.

Nice! Anderson Composites? I would love to have their cowl hood, doors and trunk lid.
Yeah Andersons , next year i will also get gt350 style carbon fenders and maybe hood . To badge or not badge , i did pick up some metal decklid badges so probably give it a shot

Ahhhh! That sucks! So many idiots out there, my father's car was run into by an unlicensed old guy before Christmas.
