Again, you can't compare peak to peak. Yes maybe there is probably 1% difference at peak but what about mid range rpm?I haven't seen much evidence here that the ECU will add more timing for more power with 91/ 93 octane. If it did, then wouldn't that cancel out much of the benefit of an aftermarket 91/93 engine tune ?
It's not first time when auto manufactures detune a little bit at higher rpm to protect engine even running on premium gas.
