The higher stall converter is good point....Saying 3.15s is perfect for boost is a stretch IMHO....all things being equal a stang with 3.73s will beat a stang with 3.15s assuming suspension is set up proper with sticky tires, and a good driver, No?.... The power will absolutely come on stronger...

If you want the power to come on more violently and be able to roast the tires more get 3:73 gears. 3.15 is a bit tall for these cars. Reduces the fun factor by a lot.:) It will drastically change the car...

ok so I got my car fixed! Squeaking is all gone now. One of the squeaks turn out to be my rear spring rubbing in the in the control arm from my dumb ass not having it positioned right. :doh: Tightening everything at ride height fixed the other squeaks. We also put the steeda shock/struts in...

Just got my Steeda Shocks/Struts installed... Very noticeable improvement of the PP shocks/struts... I have it set at softer setting and the car rides and performs great. Well done steeda!:headbang:

congrats! u gotta post a picture to make it official. But despite the drivetrain thud noise.... I think the drivetrain its actually pretty solid.... I don't know what your driving style is like or what your intensions with the car are but the steeda stop the hop kit with some lowering springs...

congrats... I bought the billet front sway bar mounts too. I couldn't get the driver side one on without taking off the alternator... so I just used the hardware that came with the sway bar.... the rear billet mounts went on no problem.

I think David said he would but since they just came out they haven't had time to package them yet. I think if you PM him with what springs etc you want he would make it happen. :cheers:

depending on weather you've done a spring install before it might be a lot faster but if its you first time then yea that sounds about right. Do you have a spring compressor? I tried the ones from autozone and it was a pain so I bought one of these that makes the job much easier...

this is why I run 93 with a stock motor in my S550...I'm not about taking chances.

sure, I agree... It will be a little bouncy though. I guess its just a taste/preference. A lot of people run the pp shocks with springs and are cool. My car is dropped 1.5" in the front and 1.0" and I could definitely use some aftermarket shocks/struts to reduce that bounce and give me options...
