No offense intended at all - but do you realize you have multiple sway bar threads going in this forum???

6 threads so far...

It would be better to keep one going, rather than to keep starting new threads for the same topic - you will get more hits and help.

to figure this out all you need to do is find the diameter of both bars. learn to fish, bro.

No worries at all. :)

So when choosing any sway bars - first thing you have to ask yourself is:

What is the overall goal with the car?
- Track use (drag racing, road racing, or auto cross)? No track use? Sporadic track use? Or just daily driver?

- What percentage is your driving type - again, this goes back to the above question, because IF the car is to be used say more for track use than daily driving, the "roll" and how the car handles with "x" sway bars will be a big difference.

- What is your other suspension components - lowered? What spring rates (if lowered or not)? Drag springs only, race springs, progressive rate, linear rate, etc?

- Using urethane, delrin, rubber or even solid bushings elsewhere?

- What's your strut/shock set up?

A lot of the above plays into the sway bar decision - it has to, because buying sway bars isn't like just buying a t-shirt and throwing it on... If you chose the wrong sway bars for your needs, it can and will affect handling anywhere - track or daily.

To help even more - if you read some of the forums like https://trackmustangsonline.com/, you will learn a lot regarding suspension set ups and sway bar use. That's not to say the info here isn't good, but there is a lot more suspension tech there with regarding how a vehicle can or will handle with suspension mods.

Users have to be careful when choosing suspension mods of ANY type. What may work for User A, may not work for User B - and what User A can tolerate with regards to NVH (noise/vibe/harshness) may not be tolerable for User B. It's not just all about buying what others have or use (applies to ANY forum), but how your vehicle will be used by you.

Some suspension upgrades can be a downgrade as far as NVH - it's a compromise over the factory engineered parts and part composition.

With that said, what is it that made you change from the factory sway bars to the BMR? Handling? If handling, what was bothering you about the stock set up? That may help us to help guide you into parts that may work better for your end goals.

Also one more tip with regards to upgrading or doing any R&R work with ANY suspension component - once the initial parts are installed, most instructions will state that all associated hardware must be torqued to spec on a LOADED suspension. This is one area most overlook - and end up with all sorts of clunking or suspension noises.

there's a whole thread dedicated to roll-bar thickness. You need to Google-foo harder. :)
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/sway-bars-so-many-choices.126826/page-5
and
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/rear-sway-bar-pivot-area-binding.120753/

I also maintain a "current" copy of spring sag and bar diameter and bar force as documented ^^^ and elsewhere as I run across info.

If I remember your other threads, you have a BMR bar that can't be greased without disassembly and it's also binding and thus making noises. Assuming you've loosened and re-tightened things with the suspension loaded as CJ mentioned, it may be worthwhile to simply have the bushings machined so they are very slightly oversize and also cut a grease channel/reservoir into them since a Zerk fitting isn't in the cards?

I haven't examined the BMR parts but it strikes me as odd that they would claim a 1.5mm hole would be problematic.

Im happy to help people that don't want to just be spoon fed everything.

You need to learn how to compare specifications. I gave you what to look up and you still wanna wait for someone to hold your hand.

Just ignore @AvalancheSVT he spends his days on here talking down to people that don’t have the same experiences as him. He literally goes out of his way to stick his nose into stuff, add nothing to benefit anyone, and talk shit.
