I got a 2016, metallic base gt,black package, 3.55 auto. Private cash and rebate in socal 35k OTD. Paid 400 less than x plan without even mentioning x plan
Wow that seems high, more like premium pricing? What were the taxes and fees? Maybe what your final negotiated price was before taxes? I'm not familiar what fees and taxes are in Cali.

I bought my 2015 base GT new with auto, 3.55s, and recaro seats for $32k OTD.

Just today I picked up a magnetic 16' 300A automatic and spoiler delete from Koons Sterling Ford. Sticker price was $34,490. Out the door with Connecticut taxes(6.35%) registration ($305.00) $30,250.00. I used $750.00 from Ford, $750.00 private cash from ford and $500.00 lease conquest cash total $2000.00 in rebates.
Hell of a deal and a big shoutout to Alex from Koons Sterling Ford.

I am starting to get serious and now inquiring about price. Got a quote for a base model 2016 GT. Dealer I went to only offered $750 off msrp.

I guess my question is, is it unreasonable to expect to get 2,000-3,000 off a msrp $35,--- base GT?

I'm in PA 20 minuets from Pittsburgh if anyone has any dealership recommendations.

I am starting to get serious and now inquiring about price. Got a quote for a base model 2016 GT. Dealer claimed that at msrp there is just not much room left to reduce! Best they could do was $750 off. I know this has to be a joke... right?

Originally from Pittsburgh as well...I bought my 16 gt base with performance package from koons Baltimore. $33,900 otd at the end of April. They show a very low price and try to add on other "prep" fees but will negotiate some. Even with those I was still over 2k less than dealers around me (I live in north nj). Good luck!

I'm looking at a similar car (same MSRP), at the same dealer. Can you explain what you did? Even with Z-Plan and $1750 in cash back, the price before taxes is $29,636. Plus 6% tax puts me over $31,400.

My salesman, Alex had told me I had bought during a sale so the sticker was $34,490 and the wow price was $27,749. Of course you have to add all the dealer charges, freight and whatever else. I did have 2k in rebates but maybe the wow price is the difference?
27749 wow price
900 freight
599 dealer processing fee
1960 tax
305 tags

31513 otd in CT
-500 competitive lease

31013 total amount financed registering in CT
After that I had received $750 private cash from ford which I must've rounded Dow but actual number is $30,263
