A good ballpark is using the Koons Ford WOW price + $1500. That’s going to be my starting point when I’m ready to buy in the spring.

I've gotten prices for $39.9k MSRP at 33,600. I'm sure there is better. I'm working towards it. Good luck!

I have a local dealer trying to sell me a 2018 GT with PP1 automatic for $40k! Its a standard GT with the 300 equipment package. It already has close to 900 miles on it too.

Hahahaha From what I understand, they are about 6-7k over for a 300A PP1 A10 GT. Not to mention the 900 miles of mostly abuse racked up by random drivers.

Silver Bullit you got an amazing deal there!

2019

A10
301A
PP1
Some garbage security package they had ordered on it :(

It's on it's way from the factory so no idiot with a filthy, gravel filled rag can destroy the paint at the dealership

MSRP $44,335

Paid $40,283 pre tax

Hopefully incentives are better next month because the current $1k is trash

Could maybe have got a little more but this was an ok deal and comparable to Koons just without the long drive home

cheapest 18 I found was 32K but it was in a bad bad state and I dont want a scratched up 'new' car

Thoroughbred Ford in KC took very good care of me. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Midwest looking for a new Mustang. Ask for Johnathon Renner. He's their Mustang guy. Hopefully, your car will show up soon and you can start enjoying that thing.

I see you’re from SA. Did you buy in Texas? That’s a pretty good deal OTD, from what I’ve seen.

Msrp of 50,070. Sat on the lot from oct-nov 2017 to May 2018. I bought it on Memorial Day. They already had it discounted. A friend that was in my ST club was the salesman his pops the sales manager, we dropped it down to just over 41k. Then I gave them the 1k prior military code and 750 private cash bringing it to 39,8xx.

I count my self lucky due to the salesman, and it sitting for quite some time.

I currently have my choice of two "deals on the table":

2019 Mustang GT (Base Trim)
Velocity Blue
10 Speed Automatic Transmission
301A Equipment Group (Ebony Black Cloth Seats)
Enhanced Security Group
3.55 Limited Slip Rear Axle
Spoiler Delete
"Out-The-Door and "On-The-Road Price", all tax, title and license fees included: $38,500

2019 Mustang Ecoboost (Base Trim)
Ingot Silver
10 Speed Automatic Transmission
101A Equipment Group (Ebony Black Cloth Seats)
Enhanced Security Group
Ecoboost Performance Package
Optional 19 inch Performance Package Luster Wheels
Active Exhaust
Spoiler Delete
"Out-The-Door and "On-The-Road Price", all tax, title and license fees included: $33,600.

In my opinion, I think each deal "could be" about $500.00 - $700.00 "better". I am trying to decide if I would rather have the "Power and Sound" of the GT, as well as the "basic necessary amenities" (and probably less maintenance costs and more long-term reliability), as opposed to the"more optioned" and "less expensive" Ecoboost, which will be, perhaps arguably, a lighter and better handling car with the PP suspension from the factory, as well costing $4900.00 less in initial purchase price, plus $40.00 less a month to insure. I believe gas consumption between the GT and Ecoboost will be a "wash", due to the weight of the Ecoboost and its engine using copious amounts of gas when the turbo spools up and "kicks in." I know that at 70-80 MPH and held in a relatively steady rate of driving, the GT with the 10 Speed Automatic Transmission "can" achieve at/around 22-23 MPG's, which for a big ole' V8 is impressive.

Opinions on which is the better deal? Which deal would you take/purchase? And why? Thanks for your input and opinions.

I wouldnt even consider an ecoboost, If you can get the first one with pp1 that would be a great car (because it's mine lol)

Are you using Ford private cash and any more incentives than just the 1k off ?

No Ford Private Cash...just the available incentives and negotiating with the dealer on prices. For a PP equipped car, the GT is about $3800.00 more expensive. The 'Stang will be a very rare daily driver and weekend cruiser. I am not sure if this somewhat limited use of the 'Stang merits 38K+. The ecoboost "seems" to be the more rationale choice.
