  1. Lund or Livernois

I'm not a new car guy and know little about tunes. That being said my wife ordered a Lund tune for her mostly stock 16--5.0 --auto and it's pretty friggin' cool how much it seems to have woken the performance up. I took the car to the track stock and had wheel spin. With this tune I would think...

Looking to get a tune on a 16 Gt auto with catback. Seems like Lund is the choice. What kind of $$$. Do I bring the car to them or is it email. Do I need the guage??? Looking for performance and get rid of the horrible throttle lag.
  6. advice

Like I said in another post I did Steeda springs and camber plates on my wife's car brand new. It looks sooooooooooooooo much better lowered. I didn't do shocks/struts .Ride seems fine to both of us. It is a second vehicle/toy so she doesn't drive it every day. I gotta have her post a pic.

Forgot , I also did the Steeda adjustable top bearing and an alignment also.
  8. What are the BEST spring?

I put Steeda on my wife's car. Perfect amount of drop with the wheel spacers. We love the way the car looks. As for the quality of ride, I can't tell a difference and she doesn't care. She just wanted it lowered.
  9. help! need suggestions on what headers is best to get

ARP quality is second to none. they sound great also. The only problem I have with ARP is everything they seem to make is always 4+ weeks behind. If you are planiing on December order ARH NOW!!
  10. Old school exhaust note

It's def nice. We used to have a few race cars and I got tired of laying on the floor putting a transmission in. Finally I got smart and bought a lift.
  11. Old school exhaust note

We installed the Corsa Sport cat back exhaust. Sounds great and I would not consider it a loud exhaust at all. Like others have said it gets some sound the harder you push on the throttle. The wife is happy and I was happy that it took 30 mins to install (we have a lift). I will add that the new...

  14. Old school exhaust note

I want to do headers but decided against it for now, plus I'm not in the mood for that job right now. The header install threads convinced me for now, lol. It's her car and we aren't racing it. It's a toy that I want make a bit better for her. Def getting a tune because the throttle lag...
  15. Old school exhaust note

I liked the ARH sound the best. Corsa was close. Called both and ARH is at least a 2 week wait. Wife pulled the trigger on a Corsa sport. She wants sound but not "loud"
  16. STEEDA'S PROGRESSIVE S550 LOWERING SPRINGS - LET'S SEE YOUR SET-UP PICS!

Got the springs installed Sunday. I was a bit worried when the car didn't seem to lower much at all. A few hours later and it dropped perfect. Also installed the camber plate kit. Not sure it was needed but wanted to play it safe. the car drives and handles great. Going to take it for an...
  17. ARH full system vs corsa xtreme

Could you pm the shop name. Still up in the air on whether I feel like doing the labor. Thx
  18. Headers

I'm so torn on the header/exhaust situation myself. What performance gain is an aftermarket header over stock? Seems like the install is a biotch. I'm leaning cat back exhaust if the gain is minimal. Last set I did on a Chebby was like 15hp IIRC?
